Epilepsy (seizure disorder) is a neurological disorder that affects approximately 3 million Americans of all ages. It is highly misunderstood and takes a huge toll on the entire family. About 30% of people with epilepsy have no control or poorly controlled seizures despite medication.
As the mother of a child with uncontrolled seizures I am passionate about raising awareness and funds for this devastating disorder. Five medications and a surgical implant (VNS) fail to control my daughters seizures. This is why I teamed up with the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern NY and created "Art for Epilepsy." For each photograph or digital art print I sell I will donate 50% of the proceeds directly to The Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern NY. This is a great opportunity for people to help out a worthy cause and get a beautiful piece of artwork in return.
